Paraguay model to run naked despite defeat “as a gift”
Yesterday, we read of lingerie model Larissa Riquelme’s promise that if Paraguay won the tournament she would happily run down the main street in Asuncion naked. Earlier, Argentine football legend and current coach Maradona had declared to run naked through the streets of Buenos Aires.
She is going to run naked for her team after all.
Metro writes, thousands of Paraguayan men depressed by the nation’s heart-rendering defeat to Spain in the World Cup have been given something to cheer about with the news lingerie model Larissa Riquelme is to honour her pledge to strip naked.
‘It will be a present to all of the players, and for all the people in Paraguay to enjoy,’ she said. ‘They tried as hard as possible and gave it their all on the field.’
